Laminating Pouch Sizes & Styles

Identatronics laminating pouches come in six standard sizes, and with a variety of options for most any application:

Pouch Thickness

• 14 and 20 mil are standard
• 10 mil is available as a custom order
• To determine a total pouch thickness, add the thickness of each pouch layer. If each pouch layer is 7 mils thick, total pouch thickness is 14 mil
• Other thicknesses available by special order.

Heat Sealed Pouches

• This type of pouch has two pouch layers sealed by heat along one edge, seal may be located on the short or long side of pouch
• Plastic card inserts are made slightly smaller than the pouch
• Paper inserts should be a total of a ¼” smaller than the pouch to ensure a good bond. In this case, the pouch must bond to the pouch, and won’t bond to the paper.
• Pouches are packaged 500 per box
• Custom pouches are available

Butterfly Pouches

• A single piece of plastic is die cut and scored, and then folded to form a perfect pouch
• Plastic card inserts are made slightly smaller than the pouch
• Card insert and pouch are designed for an edge-to-edge seal 
• Pouches are packaged 500 per box
• Custom size pouches are available
