Dual-Sided Color Card Printer With Built-in Laminator Provides Fast, Easy Production of Long-Life Plastic Cards

The Zebra P520 is a robust, high-speed card printer designed to quickly produce ISO flat cards for high durability and secure applications. The P520 features an all metal enclosure that houses a fast field-proven print engine, and heavy-duty fourth generation card laminator performance tuned for the P520 print engine. The P520 is ideal for producing:

• Secure Facility Access Control and Auto-ID cards

• Law Enforcement & Correction Facility ID cards

• Driver's Licenses and Government ID cards

• Student Identification and Time & Attendance cards

Laminating considerably increases card life and durability. Lamination can prolong card life by 2 to 5 additional years when compared to non-laminated cards under similar conditions.

The P520 printer/laminator is ultra-quiet and fast, printing and laminating up to 125 cards per hour. It is designed to print and laminate both sides of a card for dual-sided applications.

A user-friendly LCD display indicates unit status, settings and maintenance functions. Control buttons allow quick, easy access to menu options. The card feeder cover can be opened during operation to reload cards for continuous production.

Other advanced features include automatic ribbon and laminate synchonization, an in-line cleaning cartridge, optional magnetic encoding and/or Smart Card contact stations, a reject hopper for cards that fail encoding, and both Centronics and USB interfaces. Windows™ drivers, compatible with Windows™ NT, 95, 98,and 2000, provide convenient plug and play operation.
